The Epson XP-342 Home Expression is a budget A4 all-in-one wireless photo ink jet printer (Print/Scan/Copy) that first rolled off the production line in 2016. This printer, scanner and copier offers cost-effective printing for home users looking for Wi-Fi connectivity and mobile printing.

The Epson XP-342 is a 4-ink all-in-one printer for printing, copying and scanning with Wi-Fi Direct and 3.7cm LCD screen for touch-panel operation. Using Epson’s four-colour Claria Home Inks, this model is ideal for everyday printing with crisp, clear text documents and glossy, lab-quality photos.

It has a printing resolution of 5,760 x 1,440 dpi using Epson Claria Home inks. With individual ink cartridges you only have to replace the colour used, saving you money.

The XP-342 is compatible with the Epson Claria T29 and T29XL individual inks (CMYK) and uses Epson's Micro Piezo print head technology.

It can handle plain paper from 75 gsm to 90 gsm and photo paper up to 225gsm. It is possible to exceed these recommended gsm guidelines by a few extra points but you run the risk of the internal paper rollers “marking” the paper, or the paper pick up mechanism failing to engage with the individual sheets leading to a paper jam.
