The Epson XP-215 Home Expression Colour Multifunctional printer is a compact all-in-one ink jet that first appeared in 2014. This printer, scanner and copier offers cost-effective printing for home users looking for Wi-Fi connectivity and mobile printing.

The Epson XP-215 is a 4-ink all-in-one printer for printing, copying and scanning with Wi-Fi Direct and 6.4cm LCD screen for touch-panel operation. The printing is crisp and clean when compared to many other comparable printers available.

It has a printing resolution of 5,760 x 1,440 dpi using Epson Claria Home inks. With individual ink cartridges you only have to replace the colour used, saving you money.

The XP-215 is compatible with the Epson Claria T18 and T18XL individual inks (CMYK) and uses Epson's Micro Piezo print head technology.

The Epson XP-215 has a single built in paper tray with a capacity of 100 sheets of paper and 20 photo sheets. This inkjet printer cannot print onto DVDs or CDs.

It can handle plain paper from 75 gsm to 90 gsm and photo paper up to 225gsm. It is possible to exceed these recommended gsm guidelines by a few extra points but you run the risk of the internal paper rollers “marking” the paper, or the paper pick up mechanism failing to engage with the individual sheets leading to a paper jam.
